Master of two worlds.

Your arms shelter my wandering exhausted soul. Coming across your home in the middle of nowhere, it looks rusted as if no one has visited your abode for a long time.
I journeyed through deserts and swam across oceans. Unfed, & unloved for days my exhaustion is palpable through my diminishing body. I'm a voyager.
You on the other hand are the master of acres, belonging to a home & a family. Loved, & wished to be fed, why linger alone suffering a silent fate?
A dim lantern between us, I can't fathom you were waiting for me all this long. Yearning for my adventure, and me yearning just for a rest.
Enough phantom experiences have taught me that this one night in the shelter is all we both can sustain. Your desire to be free & me at home will only bring doom. A clash in eutopia is inevitable.
Yet life has proven me wrong countless times & maybe this time destiny will play its trick. And maybe we both get loved and together be set free. You leave your abode and follow me through my adventures, and in you, I build a home that lasts for centuries.
